Help Teach Your Dyslexic and Lowest Performing Students to Read
Presented by Julie Ross, S.P.I.R.E. National Trainer
About This Webinar
National Trainer Julie Ross guides us through S.P.I.R.E.®, a research-proven reading intervention product for students who are struggling to keep up. Explicit, teacher-led instruction and a consistent 10-step lesson ensure mastery of concepts to dramatically increase students’ reading skills.
This webinar will provide an overview of the product and introduce some key differences between using S.P.I.R.E. print or the new online version called iSPIRE™ as a direct instruction model, such as using traditional print and manipulatives compared to using an iPad or other device, to teach foundational reading skills with this target population.
Julie will also share personal experiences teaching S.P.I.R.E. with her students, as well as working with customers who are implementing the product in their schools and districts.
What You'll Learn
- Students achieve measurable and permanent gains while using S.P.I.R.E. and iSPIRE.
- The multisensory lessons keep students engaged and improve concept retention
- Both products are easy to implement; teacher resources are clear and explicit
